I'm a former school teacher turned pet sitting entrepreneur! I am a true animal lover and will be thrilled to take care of your pets. I have two dogs of my own and I treat them like they are my kids. I know what it's like to have to leave them and worry about them. Have no fear! I will love your pets as if they were my own! My goal in life: to be the person my dog thinks I am! Joanna was the right choice for our weekend dog-sit and we are very happy with our decision!
Joanna came to meet our dog for a meet & greet and it was instantly clear that she loves animals. We booked her to come to our house 2x/day to let the dog out every ~12 hours, and her rate of $18 per visit was slightly cheaper than the place we typically use to board our dog. We also have a cat who she bonded with while watching our dog, plus she brought in the mail and watered our plants on the porch. It gave us huge peace of mind knowing the animals were comfortable & together at home, and that someone was checking in at the house to make sure everything was OK / our plants didn't die. She left us a wonderful thank you note & candle, and was available via text message whenever I wanted to check in. We will use her again!
If you need pet boarding, board with Joanna! She watched over our 5 month old puppy and she was great. I had to change my time arrival to pick him up and she had no problem with it. She also texted us how he was doing and even sent a picture of Donnie to relieve us from worrying. We are definitely planning to board with Joanna in the future.

Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs my whole life. My first dog was a golden retriever who had 3 legs, but still could get around just as well as any dog, I really admired him. My family then adopted another golden retriever who stayed by my side through the good and the bad and I grew very attached to her. When I went out on my own I knew I wanted to have dogs, I honestly don't know how people live without them.

I don't have any breed preferences, I love all dogs no matter what shape size or breed.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Yes! The swamp rabbit trail is literally around the corner from our house. There he/she will get all the exercise desired!! I even have a walky-dog pole attached to my bike if your dog really likes to run!! Your dog's sleeping arrangement on the couch, on our bed, in a crate (we have one available) there's lots of places! Time I'll spend with your dog As much time as possible. My husband is a full time student so he will be home most of the time, and I am a full time pet sitter so depending on how busy I get with my clients at-home visits I will be home most of the time as well. Time I'll spend with your dog About an hour or more if needed and requested. I will walk them and play with them. Give them fresh water and food. I will leave you a log of the times I came and the times I left and your dogs overall mood, etc... I believe in keeping you updated! This can be in paper or e-mail form. You just let me know. Extra house-sitting services Yes, of course! Those things are basic, why get someone to walk the dog and another person to get your mail? I will do it all! Just let me know if this service is needed. There will never be an extra charge.
