The listed rates will never be over those amounts, and I can often lower them, depending on the dogs. I can take 3 dogs. No dogs over 40 lbs unless they are seniors. I fostered many dogs - mostly senior dogs and special needs dogs. But I can handle the young, big, and frisky ones, also. I know the proper care of heartworm-positive dogs and paralyzed dogs. And the special needs of blind/deaf dogs. I can also administer subcutaneous injections of fluids for dogs with kidney problems and give IM and subq shots if needed. I have three dachshunds. Your dogs will be treated like my own - or better (they know the paying guests come first!). I am almost always home. Dogs are always supervised. I like to offer the same care your dog is used to as closely as I can. As someone who’s worked with dogs for three decades, I will want the full rundown, and I will ask a lot of questions about diet, health, rules, habits, schedules, etc. Also, where they like to be scratched. I am an expert scratcher. I can calm a dog (often causing him to fall asleep) with massage and gentle scratching. I believe in regular, open lines of communication, so I will send regular updates and photos via email, through Rover or text as many times a day as you’d like, and you should feel free to contact me, day or night.
