Pet care experience
I have over 18 years of experience training, walking and caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes. My favorite things in life are dogs and coffee. I will treat your fur baby like family. I pay special attention to specific needs and adapt accordingly. If you have a certain way of handling your pet I will be sure to align myself to your needs. I am patient, caring, and effective in communication. If your dog is boarding with me I will be sure he/she will be well taken care of, cuddled and played with. I have several guest rooms to utilize (or if your dog is used to sleeping in the bed with you, they are welcome in my bed too). I have a large fenced in back yard and Avery sweet dogs that would love to play and wear your dog out while also fulfilling social needs. My husband, Nathaniel, is also an avid dog lover (who helped me to train my dog when I first rescued him) and will assist with any additional needs or scheduling that may occur.

Joanna is amazing! Our pup always comes home exhausted after spending a fun-filled day with Joanna, her sweet girls, and their friendly dog Kairos. Joanna is a great communicator -- always very responsive and sends us photos and messages throughout the day to let us know how things are going. I know my dog is in such great care with Joanna and feel very thankful to have found her!
Joanna did an amazing job taking care of our 7 months puppy for several weeks. She sent photos, videos and messages frequently. I would strongly recommend Joanna and her family for dog boarding.

Is your dog friendly with other dogs (I have two male mixed breed 70lbs but are very sweet and do great with other dogs). Is your dog friendly with young children? I have two daughters ages 5 and 3. They are calm and respectful of dogs.
A typical day
Our neighborhood is full of great walking paths. Our back yard is very large and fully fenced in, so I will utilize that for throwing a ball/frisbee. Outside of that, lots of cuddles and maybe a good movie.
