I have my masters in social work with a concentration in veterinary social work. I've pet sat since I was a kid, I recently worked at a dog daycare/hotel. I am comfortable administering most medicines. I am open to caring for all types of animals!

Yana (Joanna) did an absolutely amazing time with my and my sister's cats. We have three cats between the two of us, two of whom tend to be very shy, but all our kittens LOVED her! She sent lots of updates with pictures attached which made me feel very comfortable while we were gone! She was very punctual in feeding them and went above and beyond with scooping their litter and cleaning up their stress throw-up. 10/10 would recommend!!!
Joanna did a fantastic job with my dogs and communicating with me. She was always on time and stayed to play with the dogs and made sure they felt comfortable while I was gone. One of my dogs is very shy and previously never warmed up to the dog walker we had a few years ago. She warmed up to Joanna toward the end of day one and from the pictures, it looks like they became good friends. I would not hesitate to recommend her to others and I’m so glad I found her to take care of my pups.
Joanna has been so wonderful in all ways! She sends the most thoughtful updates and photos, is great with communication and is punctual! 10 out of 10 Milo approved!!

I have a free range rabbit, so I will not be able to house any animals in my apartment. However, I am comfortable in any setting and can take your pet for walks in one of the local parks! I have had experience with dogs of every size and a plethora of breeds. I look forward to working with you and your furry friend!

Please let me know if your dog is bloat risk, needs medications, is human/dog/barrier/leash aggressive. I am willing to work with all temperaments and special needs, I just need to know ahead of time!
A typical day
I want your dog(s) to feel as comfortable as possible. I will play with them (fetch, tug of war etc.), take them for walks, pet and cuddle them, and anything else you feel they may like! I love going for walks at many of the local parks, a favorite of mine is the arboretum.

Availability
I am available most evenings and weekends. I cannot provide any services between 8am and 5pm on weekdays. I will only be taking clients who are located in Powell or near UTK campus starting June 5, 2023. If you are outside this area please contact me and we can see if we can work something out. :)
