Your dog is my new best friend!!!
Pet care experience
Hi there! Friendly, outgoing walker/sitter who will adore your pooch just as much as you do! I have been pet and house sitting for over 15 years in different capacities, and love to give dogs pets and more attention than you can imagine! I give great scratches and belly and ear rubs! I love to play with your poochies and to snuggle up when we are all tired out. I will attend to all of you pooch needs, down to the last detail! I love to be outdoors in any and all capacities. Would love to explore local trails with your adventure buddy! I lost my best friend, a 120pd 6.5 year old Alaskan Malamute, in June 2019 after a rough go battling canine cancer. I love and miss him deeply. Long walks with a dog has been my therapy/self-care time for as long as I can remember. So borrowing your dog benefits more than you and your pooch, it puts a smile on my face as well! I’m between work currently so my schedule is a touch disjointed, but makes for lots of opportunity to connect with you and your pooch! Send me a booking request today, I cant wait to get to know that special four legged friend of yours! And if I get to meet you too, then that’s a welcome bonus.
Reviews
Joanna and her partner Nick took AMAZING care of my puppy Archer! They went above and beyond, sending me tons of pics throughout his stay. I was nervous as it was his first time away from home and she made me feel confident that Archer was being well taken care of and loved.? Their pup Roy got along with archer immediately. We will definitely be re-booking their services soon!!
Joanna is very trustworthy and bursting with love to give. She is reliable and will treat your fur child like her own. She has experience in all fascists of dog care. We all hear “Dog is mans best friend” I truly witnessed this with Joanna and her Alaskan malamute Kusko. Joanna helped my elderly dog immensely this past fall. She dog sat for my pup Ava sometimes 4x a week ,so I could go to work and treated her like a queen! It’s difficult to leave your disabled pet but Joanna will diminishes all those anxiety’s. What a gift. She kept me updated and made sure Ava got her medicine on time. Ava had mobility issues but that didn’t stop Joanna from taking her on all the adventures she could. She also has her masters in social work so if your dog has anything they need to work through she’s your girl😉! Can’t think of a better human to care for others and our furry friends.
Joanna was great! My dog loved her, and did not stop smiling the whole time she was with her in her pictures from her walk and when she got back. It was nice to have the peace of mind that my dog was safe and having fun and so well taken care of with Joanna. Will definitely use her again!
I have known Joanna for about 5 Years. We first met when she lived in the same apartment building. For the time that she lived below me I could always count on her lending a hand taking care of my dog Kyah. She was always there to help walk or to help watch her while I was away on vacation. Kyah also loved spending time with Joanna as whenever I opened my door should would run right to Joanna’s. It was always a comfort knowing that while away, my girl was showered with love and snuggles. I strongly recommend Joanna for any of your pet sitting needs. I miss her and her compassion terribly!!

Our home: Fenced in Backyard with room to run. Dog snuggles in the bed and on the couch. Lots of love and attention and more love. Your home: I follow house rules. What the pet owner says goes. Where dogs are welcome, when. Adventures: I do like to take doggos in my car (with permission) and take them for long walks/hikes/the beach. Love a trip to the dog park!
Information Joanna M. would like to know about your pet
The more transparent you are about your pooch and their needs the better equipped I will be to be here for them. Some dogs are odd and quirky. Some dogs more in the excitable range. Some have health concerns or get sore back legs. The more I know the more I know how to best work with and respond to your pets needs.
A typical day
“Pursue, keep up with, circle round and round your life, as a dog does his master's chaise. Do what you love. Know your own bone; gnaw at it, bury it, unearth it, and gnaw it still.”- Thoreau I live not far from Riverfront Park and will gladly get your pooch out to any area dog parks and trails.
