ENVIRONMENT: I have a spacious, well-secured home in a safe private neighborhood with large fenced-in yard, easy in/out entry (no stair flights, elevators, etc) as well as all the equipment one would reasonably need to comfortably accommodate your dog in my home (food/water bowls, large dog bed, etc.). I am available to house sit as well, and can accommodate a variety of pet schedules given my flexible work situation.

EXPERIENCE: My family had a dog before I was born—my first words were “Hi Dog” !! We had dogs, cats and hamsters, and as I grew older I walked dogs for work in high school. I acquired my sweet rescue dog Jinx as soon as I began living on my own 11 years ago. I’ve cared for several breeds of senior dogs with advanced care needs and am familiar with the unique needs of many kinds of breeds I’ve cared for in the past. Although Jinx used to be my “shadow” (always by my side), he recently crossed the rainbow bridge in October, so my home is currently pet free. Joanna was fantastic with our three cats! She kept us well informed, sent lots of photos and followed all the care instructions to the letter. She also went above and beyond to ensure our home was tidy when we returned.
Joanna was fantastic! Her communication was proactive and seamless, and we were totally at ease knowing she was in our home with our dogs. We would absolutely love to work with her again.
Joanna is great. 4th time letting my Kona stay with her and will be back. Great updates and pictures from her during each trip to let me know my little one is having a good time!
This was our second time requesting Joanna's services to take care of our two dogs. She's always so kind and communicative. She made sure to send plenty of pictures and updates during her stay. She's also clearly a dog lover, as she takes such great care of our boys and they love her dearly. They're so comfortable around her. Our house was also in great shape when we got back. We couldn't ask for more & at this point she's really the only person we'd trust to take care of our dogs!
