I have a very special little dog named Belle. Belle is quite the diva when it comes to walks and is very particular on who she likes walking her. If she doesn't like walking with them, she will simply lay down on the ground and refuse to move (a trait I have found common among other shih tzus) . After trying out many dog walkers who Belle did not like, we finally found Joanna. Joanna is a natural when it comes to walking and working with dogs. She is a very nice, accommodating person and Belle immediately took a liking to her. Not only does Joanna take her on her preferred routes, she also takes the time to look after her general wellbeing- is her harness too tight...would Belle prefer to go to the park today or stroll around town?...does Belle need extra petting today?...etc. On days that aren't so nice she makes sure Belle has on her coat and takes her on fun indoor excursions (Belle hates cold or rainy weather!). She is generally very receptive to Belle's needs and which activities suit her. Joanna is also very professional and always shows up on time. In the past I've had dog walkers who are always running late or who straight up forget to come! It's nice to finally have some one I can trust with Belle, especially on the days I'm stuck at work and can't come home in the afternoon to see her. Dogs are so receptive to energy, so I'm glad that Belle can have a walker who is always happy to see her and makes sure she has the best possible time when they are together. The best part? Belle has never laid down and refuse to walk when she is with Joanna.
