Loving Pet Care-We Transport

Pet care experience

UPDATE: Due to our new location, we now offer transport! We recently relocated to a beautiful farmette, with a larger home, and more space for the pups in our care to relax and enjoy in East Salem. We would love to continue serving the Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg area, and remain flexible in our ability to transport pets. I manage our home and do pet care full time, so your pets are the #1 priority when staying with us! We do not do this as a hobby or side business :) I am proud to be going into 7+ years with Rover, and am committed to the integrity and quality of care we have always provided. I started training dogs semi-professionally over 15 years ago, starting with my own, while I was also the assistant barn and animal care manager at a local residential facility for youth. I fostered my first dog when I was 19, and have continued that tradition on/off as able since, focusing on "aggressive" or "difficult" dogs. I have experience working in both a kennel, boarding facility, and daycare, and continued experience in a local veterinary office. I see my own dogs as family members, and treat others as such as well. My home is set up excellently for multiple dogs, if sociable they can free roam and play with my own pups, two silly, sociable belgian sheepdogs-and if they prefer their own space I can easily close off a section just for them. Our dogs are crate trained, but we do not require other dogs to be. As I work from home, I am available for frequent potty breaks, training, walks along the creek, or lounging in our back yard. Is your pup a senior? Special arrangements can be made! Is your dog high drive? Easily bored? I can provide plenty of entertainment either out hiking, or training in obedience, agility, and ground tracking. We understand being a pet parent is a 24/hr task, its not a 9-5 job, because of this we try to accommodate requests on a 24/hr basis, and are extremely flexible for drop off and pick up times. We simply ask you make us aware of these needs at the time of booking, or keep us informed of any schedule changes as they happen :) If your dog is reactive, has a history of aggression, please let us know, we are comfortable accommodating these pups, we understand they are your family, and with 10+ years experience, they will be in safe, caring hands. However, we do ask for the utmost honesty, this is for the safety of your pet as much as ours, and to ensure their stay is positive.

This was our first time leaving our puppy overnight with someone else. CJ was wonderful to work with and I felt very confident our dog was in good hands. She was understanding and accommodating with our dog's sensitive stomach issues. She sent updates each day and providing pickup and drop-off was a lifesaver. I would highly recommend CJ to others and we will definitely book with her again!
