Pet care experience
I have been a long-term pet care-taker since I was sixteen, first caring for two senior labs on my weekends and breaks. I have experience administering meds and injections as well as catering to individual pet behavioral needs and diets. I also just genuinely love caring for dogs and animals. I respect pet-parent’s routines and care-giving schedules and try to give your pups love, stimulation, and general fun while you’re away! I’m a long time pet owner (dogs and cats) and love going on walks! I am a graduate student so my days are pretty free. I have a flexible schedule and typically have mornings and evenings available as well as weekends. I’m a great fit for last minute pet-care or for long-term care appointments. I live near an awesome dog park and have a good space for dogs if needed. I have an upstairs and a downstairs so I can provide a safe and calming space for your dog!

Outstanding Service. 5 STARS Joanna provided 5 days/nights of house and pet sitting plus some walks for our 75lb 2 yr. old Labradoodle Will not hesitate to use again as our dog LOVED Joanna and he was very well cared for. Would Highly Recommend. Very nice and very professional.

Joanna is a childhood friend who has been wonderful with taking care of my family’s fur babies (dogs and cats). She is a dependable caregiver and sitter for our animals. People get nervous about leaving their pets with strangers but Joanna is there to make you feel comfortable and ease your mind! She puts safety first and cares for animals like they are her own!

A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs by taking them to new places, and “filling up their file cabinet with new experiences ” as one of my favorite dog trainers used to say. I am relatively new to Bloomington but I love how walkable the city is, and frequent the Griffey Lake trails! I’m excited to explore new places with your pet!
