I am a professional dog Auntie and have cared for and lived with many dogs in my life for the duration of my time in NYC- 6 years. I have worked with many different kind of breeds including pit bulls.

There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude for Joanna. She is kind, knowledgeable, trustworthy, dependable, reliable and an overall star! We had to travel abroad for a wedding and we were gone for 7 days. Joanna house sat for us and took care of our pup, Margo. Right away, Margo acted as if she’d known Joanna her entire doggy life, which helped us feel at ease. Joanna followed our care instructions perfectly and kept us up to date with photos. We would recommend Joanna to anyone who is looking for someone who loves dogs and will treat your dog and home as there own. We can’t wait to book another stay with Joanna, knowing we can now travel and have such a great person to love and care for our pup while we are away! We can’t thank you enough, Joanna!
We were out of town for a 4 day weekend. Joanna was incredibly helpful and worked with our schedule. She tended to our 2 dogs, helped water the plants, administered medications, and even vacuumed the house! She sent us lots of updates and texts along the way, which really helped with my anxiety while we were away! All around great experience. We felt very comfortable and secure knowing Joanna was with our best friends. If you are in need of a pet sitter, I recommend Joanna.

A typical day
I live near Forte Greene park which is my favorite place to go for walks with pups. I love playing tug of war, tummy rubs, and lots of pets and positive reinforcement!

I work from home and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule! I’m available Monday through Friday for morning, mid afternoon, or evening walks. I’m available weekends as needed!
