Pet care experience
I have owned a pet all my life. Pets are a permanent part of my life and I feel empty without a pet in my life . When I reached my teen years I would help my sister out at the kennels and with spay-a-thons at the vets' offices. I would also pet sit for her. From there she would refer me to her friends. I now have over 22 years experience with dogs and cats. Doesn't matter the size, I can handle them all. I have assisted with the births of pups, helped foster kittens, and even trained a few service dogs. No matter what your fur baby needs I am happy to provide. From a cuddle to a frisbee session I will be sure to make them feel right at home. Pets are family, and they deserve the very best all the time! My rates are negotiable.

We contacted Joanna on short notice because our plans for pet care changed suddenly due to our dog having an illness. Once we met Joanna, we were totally comfortable with her in our home. She did a fantastic job with our pup! She made sure to administer our pup’s medication and monitor for any GI issues, etc. she kept us updated regularly while we were on our trip. We would not hesitate to hire her again for a future job. Highly recommend her!
I’ve known Ms. Donaldson for nearly two decades and I can attest that not only does she know and understand animals and their behavior but she also deeply cares for them. At different points she has taken care of my German shepherd that was on chemotherapy, my adopted Rottweiler that I adopted as she was recovering from very bad physical abuse and my Belgian malinois that was also a victim of physical abuse prior to adoption. She did outstanding with all three including with their additional physical and emotional needs. She is someone I would not hesitate to trust my animals with in the future.

My day looks different for each kind of care of care requested Walks: Walks will be done promptly and with respect to the owners requests'. Drop ins: Will be done at agreed upon times and in line with owners requests'. Drop Ins include potty time, playtime, quick clean of any pet messes. Top up / refill of food and water. Housesitting: I am there the majority of the day , I also spend all night . I get the mail, have playtime, walks ect. Make sure the house is kept neat And to the best I can in line with owners requests".

I don't have a breed preference, but I am not one to turn away a "difficult dog " I am willing to offer training . I left Rover for a bit to grieve the loss of my dog and the loss of my father .
A typical day
I love to make pets smile. Favorite games or toys are big one I use . I love taking a dog on it's normal walk route and watching the excitement
