Hello! My name is Joanna and I have been working in the veterinary field for the past 17 years, but I have been taking care of animals since I was 14. I received my Associates degree in Veterinary Technology in 2010 and successfully became a national board registered veterinary technician(RVT) that same year . I currently work as a RVT at a veterinary clinic in Baltimore and as an RVT at an Emergency Animal Hospital in Ellicott City. I am comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and ages of dogs and cats. I am also comfortable with multi-pet households. I can identify and properly respond to any medical situation. I understand animal behavior and I am able to notice signs of distress, anxiousness/nervousness/excitement and know how to resolve them. I believe that all pets should be treated like family. I have 2 kitties named Kitt and Picasso, and a pointer mix named Molly. When I am taking care of your furry family member, I will treat them as if they were a part of my family. I will give them lots of love, snuggles, and of course kisses!
