Pet care experience
I've been a dog owner for 18 years, dogs are my passion! They love me and I love them, from puppies to seniors, toys to giants. As an avid walker and hiker, I walk 5-10 miles every single day. I have a wooded, private, 1.5 acre property with plenty of room to run and play. My beagle, Piglet, is also a fine hostess. She loves to have canine company! And then to snuggle with us and relax at my comfy, quiet home together. Piglet is my sweet angel baby rescue senior beagle. She's quiet and submissive and loves every single dog and person she's ever met! And everyone loves her back.

Dale was extremely well taken care of with Jo. He can be a lot! Puppy energy and all. But Jo kept him happy, safe and well taken care of. He can’t wait to go back!
Joanna walked our dog while we were away on vacation. Our dog was stubborn about going outside but Joanna was patient and gentle. She obviously cared about giving our dog a good time and was trying to troubleshoot our dog not wanting to exercise. We know that Zadie was in good hands and we feel lucky to have found Joanna!

We have left our pup with Joanna twice now and he had come back happy and exhausted both times which is utterly ideal. She's really responsive and has been flexible with both bookings happening on relatively short notice. Can't wait to keep working with her.

I live in a safe, secluded area on 1.5 acres. I have recently fenced in the property! My backyard is large, peaceful, and wooded. There are lots of dogs on my block who love to socialize and have play dates if that's what your dog is into. I'm at the end of a dirt road, nowhere near any traffic, so it is very safe and private.

It is highly recommended that your dog be on some kind of tick prevention protocol. My house is in a very wooded area with lots of critters and ticks.
A typical day
I love to hike, swim and take long walks. When we're home, 90% of the time we're outside playing. I give your dog my undivided attention. Let me know your dog's energy level and I'll take them with me on walks, hikes, adventures, etc.

Availability
Dogs are my main gig, so I will be with your babies almost 24/7. When I go out, I bring Piglet and friends along with me everywhere I can, especially to parks, trails and forests. But if your dog is more of a homebody, I can easily stay home with them all day.
