I am highly experienced and have worked as a professional pet sitter and dog walker since 2013. I have contracted for 2 pet sitting companies in the area and know the ropes of the business. I have worked with a wide range of dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments - including puppies. I also own and adore cats and would love to check in on your furry ones while you are away. Looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented and you can trust with your fur-babies in your absence? I have had a love for animals since I was a child. I grew up with German Shepherds and often brought home strays that would become a part of our family. I have also cared for many friends'/family pets over the years. Animals bring so much joy to my life and it gives me great pleasure to help keep your pet happy and safe in your own home (where pets are more comfortable). I am hoping to add more furry friends to my life. I specialize in belly rubs, ear scratches and lots of TLC.

Gandalf loved Joanna's elvish-like visits almost as if he was being pampered in Rivendell. He delighted in daily games, luxuriated in each thorough brushing, reveled with each lovingly served repast and even supervised the cleansing of his commode. He was quite vocal in his approval as Johanna reported frequent and lengthy (for a cat) conversations. He relaxed with Joanne and frequently posed for pictures each day for Johanna to forward to Gandalf's friends as they sojourned on a mission of their own. And, upon their return Gandalf, when asked "Would you like to see her again?" replied in his best cat-ish,"a great friendship has grown between us, and if I have need (s)he will come at my call."
Joanna is a superstar.
Joanna took great care of my cats while I was away on a family visit. One of my cats had to go to the vet for pink eye. Joanne handled it beautifully and sent pics and updates daily. Thanks for taking such great care of my pets.
We were very happy to have Joanna come house sit while we were away. She was very communicative, provided updates as promised and, overall, left us feeling reassured that our dog was well taken care of (she even went above-and-beyond with walks in the rain!). Charlie loved her also and was comfortable from the initial meet-and-greet... we definitely won't hesitate to have Joanna come stay again in the future.
