I treat your fur baby like my own!

Pet care experience

I've had dogs ever since I was a kid. I treat my pets not as property but as a member of our family. I've taken care of other friends' fur babies for years. Experienced in administering medication and caring for senior pups. My day job is mostly remote except for 1 day in the week. I will always let you know if I have another dog who is boarding with me or if there will be an overlap. I also have additional insurance as a dog walker/boarder just in case. I'm currently only boarding 1 dog at a time unless they are from the same household. I cannot accommodate dogs who are not friendly to other dogs but I may be able to recommend another sitter. I also cannot accept a dog that has severe anxiety if they are left alone for a short period of time.I want all my guests to be happy and comfortable, please just be honest about your pup's quirks :)

Joanna took excellent care of Lucy. Very quick to respond to all communication and sent lots of pictures. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for care of their fur baby.

Joanne is absolutely wonderful! Went above and beyond to ensure that our dog felt at home and safe. We feel lucky to have found her! So nice to know that we can travel and leave our dog with someone who is reliable and truly loves dogs.

Woody had a great time spending the day with Joanna. He immediately became comfortable with her and was excited to play with the other dogs she was boarding. Joanna kept in contact with me throughout the day sending me several pictures and giving me updates. She made me feel at ease. I will most definitely trust Woody with Joanna again.

Safety, trust & environment

My guests are treated like they are my own. They get cuddles, pets and outside time multiple times a day. I have a fenced yard that they are free to explore (with supervision of course) I also have plenty of toys. Just note, if you bring toys for your pup, it may not make it back it one piece😅 I also have multiple food bowls (shmedium to large dogs) so no need to bring your pup’s bowls unless they’re of the small breed variety. I try to make your pups as comfortable as I can. Even if it means sitting in the bathtub with them because fireworks are crazy (new years Eve was rough) I will always keep in constant contact photos/video updates. If I have a concern I will let know immediately. I know what it’s like To be away from your pups and it’s helpful to know how they are doing 😊

Information Joanna A. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dogs have any meds needed to be given, quirks or things they like or don’t like, are they allowed on furniture, scared of storms or fireworks, food aggression or any kind of aggression towards certain things. This is not just for my safety but also your fur baby. I ask this so I can be prepared. I love dogs of all kinds (but I’ve a soft spot for labs and big dogs!).

A typical day

Typical day: Early potty in the yard. Depending on the dogs routine. Breakfast, more outside time after, depending on weather/temps a walk then back home to chill or lounge in the backyard. Snuggles as needed. Potty/sniff breaks outside as well. In the afternoon, a short walk, dinner and another walk if the pups are up for it.

Availability

My guests are never alone as there is always someone here even if I have to run an errand or two. I lost my soul dog a few months ago…my guests gets all the love and may or may not get a little spoiled during their stay 😉 I do have another dog. Her name is Piper. She’s a very playful, friendly and cuddly lab.
