I have 33 years experience with dogs. Dogs 50 pounds or less are welcome. I do have a dog named Penelope who gets along well with other dogs. Your pet must be able to get along with my dog.

I recently had Joann watch my dog Tucker for the second time and once again she did an amazing job! Joann truly goes above and beyond when it comes to taking care of animals. She is incredibly responsible and attentive to Tucker’s needs and always keeps me updated with pictures and messages throughout his stay. Joann has a great set-up for pets, with a large fenced-in yard and plenty of space for dogs to run around and play. Overall, I would highly recommend Joann to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter. I trust her completely with Tucker and know that he is in good hands whenever he stays with her. Joann is a kind, friendly dog whisperer who cares for my silly older yellow Lab like he is her own. My pup adores her just as much as I do. If you want someone to take great care of your pup while you’re out of town, Joann should be at the top of your list!
Joann did an amazing job watching our dog Tucker for 6 nights. Not only did she provide top-notch care for Tucker, but he also hit it off with her dog Penelope and they had a blast playing together! BooBoo had such a wonderful time with JoAnn and had so much fun with her dog Penelope. JoAnn was so attentive to her needs, and went out of her way to ensure my girl felt safe, secure and happy, and was eating. She gave me peace of mind throughout each day checking in with updates and photos and videos. BooBoo loved the fenced in back yard to run freely with her new pal Penelope, who is a bundle of respectful joy. Thank you JoAnn!

We ask that you make sure your pet is vaccinated and up to date on all their shots from your veterinarian, that you give us the name of your veterinarian and phone number in case we need to get medical help for your pet. Instructions on your furry family member's diet, play and sleeping routines and your pet will be in very good hands.

My only ask is that your dog can be trusted to be alone for short periods of time if I need to go to the market, or may have a doctor appt. This would be for a period of no more than 2 hours. Other than that...I am with your dog basically 24/7 and I will treat your dog as my own and bring them into the routines of my family to make them feel at home, loved and cared for.
A typical day
I have plenty of dog toys in my home. I have a big back yard for running and playing. Penelope is a wonderful playmate. We have a beach near our home that I regularly take my dog to everyday and will happily take my guest dog along with me on those walks with Penelope. I also walk dogs in my own neighborhood, safe from main roads.
