Pet care experience
For 14.5 years, I was privileged to have the sweetest black Labrador Retriever that ever was. He was just a year old when I rescued him from Helen Woodward Animal Center and the years with him were wonderful. I also grew up with a black lab so I have many years of experience with dogs including feeding, walking, playing, cuddling, giving medications and all around care. I have lots of experience with senior dogs and happen to think senior dogs are especially sweet! After my sweet boy passed away, I joined Rover as a way to earn a little extra money doing something with creatures that I truly love. It has been about 3 years now and I have cared for many sweet pups (and even a few cats :)). I look forward to meeting you and your dog!

We are so glad we chose Joanne to walk our three senior fur ladies. She was very responsive every step of the way. She also is experienced with senior dogs and made some very wise decisions when I forgot to put the dog food out with instructions. Lela, Fiona and Karma enjoyed her company as they were relaxed and well adjusted when we returned from our evening with friends. It was wonderful to have peace of mind and enjoy our night out. Will definitely be using Joanne again in the future. Highly recommend.

JoAnn has been absolutely amazing. We were looking for a responsible, consistent walker for our pup and she’s definitely more than we could have asked for. My pup is a little skittish and she was very patient getting him comfortable with her. Would definitely recommend!!

It is always helpful to know what things your dog reacts to (the UPS person, cats, etc...). For mine, it was kids on skateboards. The more information I have on a dog prior to our interacting, the better I can care for him or her.
