My name is Joann, I am 34 years old and I have 15+ years of experience in dog walking and animal sitting. I've worked at the Peninsula Humane Society SPCA for over 2 1/2 years as a Veterinarian Assistant/Technician in the surgery clinic and various other departments. I've also worked at the Mid-Peninsula Animal Hospital in Menlo Park for over 6 years also as a Vet Assistant/Tech assisting in medical procedures, giving medications, administration, injections, subcutaneous fluids, and specializing in the tender, loving, and care of animals. I am currently in school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. I have two dogs of my own, "Kona" and "Bella". Kona is a 10-year-old Pit Bull Staffordshire terrier mix, and Bella is a 4-year-old Chihuahua Jack Russell. I also have two cats, "Ranger" and "Kya". Ranger is a 12-year-old three-legged brown tabby, and Kya is a 3-year-old Siamese. When I was a Vet Tech at the Peninsula Humane Society SPCA, I rescued Kona when she was only 2 months.
