I live near the airport/ferry which makes it easy to drop off and pick up from a trip. I don't think I'm much different than other walkers. I'm looking for a 4 legged friend to share lots of love and spoil a little. that's the wonderful thing about dogs...they don't judge, they just love, and it's a wonderful thing to return that love. I love dogs. I love cats. I'm a general animal lover. I'm a senior citizen and have lived alone. When my daughter and I lived together we had 2 dogs and a cat. One BIG male dog and one small female dog. They were like husband and wife. We treated them as such and they filled our days with amusing stories...some not so amusing, but it was impossible to stay mad at them when they had done something bad as they appeared so remorseful. They were both mutts and EXTREMELY clever. I swear they understood every word we said, especially the female. She was diabolically smart. Unfortunately they both passed the same year. I miss them still. I'm on the island now and often wanted another dog, however my job required travel and I didn't think it was fair. I think sitting may fill that void I feel, as now I'm retired and still like the feeling of travelling now and then, so this works well for me....and the pooches. My apologies...it's impossible for me to keep my calendar up to date. I do the best I can, but it's better to shoot me a quick text or email as I'm flexible. Warm regards, Joan
