Pet care experience
I take pet-sitting very seriously and professionally. I am a kind, gentle and patient soul. I respect and relate to animals in a loving way. I like to follow the dog's routine so they feel secure, loved and well-cared for! Pet parents can expect their dogs to act as if they were never away. I am recommended by 2 local veterinarians whose pets I sit for, one vet for over 10 years! I also worked at a veterinary practice for 10 years. I love to play, exercise, swim with the dogs. However, if your dogs prefers cuddling, petting and lap-sitting I love that, too! I welcome cats in your home as well! I take pride in knowing people trust and want me taking care of their precious pets and homes.

First time I left my birdies with Joan. She did a great job giving the medicine to one of them and feeding everybody. She was always on time and sent me updates and pictures. She also expended a quality time with them. I will definitely consider her for the next time.
Joan was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond and truly put my mind at ease when I was nervous about leaving Stella for the first time. She made sure to ask all the right questions and ensuring it would be a good fit. Joan sent the cutest pictures and made two new friends. Stella and I would absolutely recommend Joan to anyone who needs/wants someone who will treat their pet like it was their own child. I was a little afraid Stella wouldn't want to come home :)
Joan is a wonderful pet sitter! We've known her for many years as our pet sitter who then became a good friend. Joan has a kind heart and a love for animals as well as years of experience taking care of pets. She is responsible and trustworthy and will provide excellent care for your pets. I know I don't have to worry Joan is looking after our dogs. I highly recommend her!

A typical day
My neighborhood is great for walking! Combing, brushing, bathing, swimming, playing, fetch, etc. Trips to dog parks are available if owners want, I don't personally recommend for several reasons. Of course senior dogs may just need companionship and lots of naps! My senior dog prefers belly rubs! I have also administered medicines and insulin shots.
