Pet care experience
I have been pet-sitting and walking dogs for my family for 20 years. I've mostly worked with German Shepherds, most notably an Alpha male who kept me on my toes :) I love taking care of dogs: walking, brushing, and hugging especially! I also love cats. I have my own cat and have 2 years experience as a cat socializer at the Wisconsin Humane Society. Cats and dogs communicate in their body language, their energy level, and their eating patterns. It's important that I know this as your pet sitter so I can watch out for anything that seems off. I am an early morning person, so if my schedule permits, I'm up for early morning duties. Joan stayed for 3 days with my dog Charlie at my house. She was timely, responsive and took excellent care of both my home and my dog. I would absolutely ask Joan to pet/house sit for me again. Charlie is an old guy who can have separation anxiety causing him to pee in the house. Joan did such a great job making him feel safe and happy.
I’m so pleased to have Joan take care of my Bella. You certainly can tell she loves animals. I felt very comfortable having Joan watch my dog overnight. I would recommend her to my family and friends. So, if you need a reliable and caring sitter, I suggest you book with her. I will be booking with her again.

I have known Joan Paul all my life. She is my younger sister and she has always loved cats and dogs and cares greatly for them all . She's been walking my dogs for many, many years and cares about my dog and all as if they were her own. She is the kindest and most honest person you would want to know. She is very gentle and loves every pet on this earth . I have the utmost trust of Joan with my dog in my house , out of my house any time and anywhere. She is definitely every pets friend whether they know her or not .

I would like to know if he/she has any triggers when I walk them; other dogs, chasing squirrels, etc. Also, if they take medicine. I love all dogs. If you have a Golden Retriever, I will want to take it home.

I love going to big parks or near the water. We can play fetch in your backyard. I will play whatever games your pet likes.

I'm usually available after 3:30 and on weekends. The more notice I have for weekends, the more likely my calendar will be open. Additionally, I have seasonal breaks, so I have even more availability then.
