I’m a work-at-home professional and a dog lover. I lost my beloved lab/border collie mix to cancer and I miss her every day. I’m doing a fair amount of dog sitting while I decide about getting another dog of my own. I would love to watch your dog and shower him or her with all the attention I would normally be showing to my own. I am responsible, neat, good at communicating, have a flexible work schedule and many years of experience caring for my own dog and for the dogs of friends, neighbors, clients, etc. I also used to foster dogs at my home until they could be adopted. I’m an active person and happy to walk or run with your dog or whatever they like.

Joan was a lifesaver. I was very anxious about leaving my 12 year old doggy alone. He’s been with family since we rescued him as a little puppy. Joan showed a lot of patience and compassion, for both me and puppy. She sent lots of pics and updates. She worked with our schedule. I can’t say enough positive things about Joan. I hope we can use her again this summer when we have another trip planned.
Joan did a great job with our fur babies. Very much appreciate her help while we were out of town. One pup needs meds twice a day and they all have unique feeding needs - this much appreciate her taking care of all that.
Joan was amazing. She was incredibly attentive and gave our pups the love and attention they needed while we were enjoying our sons wedding. We will definitely be using her services again!

I don’t particularly want to watch aggressive dogs or dogs that bark a lot. But I’m fine with needy dogs, senior dogs, or dogs with health concerns.
A typical day
I can work from anywhere with Wi-Fi and power, and I have flexible hours. So I’m usually able to work around your schedule and to be home with your pets much of the day and night. My typical approach is to take dogs I'm watching for a short walk in the morning, a longer one in the evening, and play with them in the house so we both get breaks while I'm working throughout the day.
