Veterinary technician/ dog trainer

Pet care experience

*meet and greets are hosted at the Ansonia nature center* *Boarding- check out is by 11am the day of pick up anything after will be charged a day of doggie daycare* I go with the needs of the animal. I am an emergency veterinary technician. I have a German shepherd that is a trained service animal as well as in search and rescue. We have numerous options available including doggie daycare and training available. I have trained horses for over 15 years and dogs for over 10. I love to run and go on long walks with my dogs and clients dogs we go to the parks as well as other fun adventures. Hiking is a popular favorite for my dogs. We can accommodate any reasonable request for your dog, as being a dog owner I know first hand it is stressful leaving our best friends in the hands of others and I work to make it a comfortable experience for all. The dogs I care for always have a watchful eye, when I am working my father a retired veteran watches over the animals in my care.

Joan was wonderful and our pup enjoyed their time together. Joan went above and beyond and we’d happily recommend her to anyone who needs a pet & home sitter.

Joan is fabulous and I highly recommend her to anyone who needs house or petsitting services. She is quick to get back to us when needed and sends pictures of our pets while we are away. I am a repeat customer, have worked with Joan three times and already have our next trip and service with Joan booked. Thank you so much!

Joan was always responsive when contacted and provided pictures and updates on her stay. She also took care of our plants and as a bonus brought her son who supplied playtime for our dog.
