I Love, Love, Love Dogs.
Pet care experience
I have owned dogs for all my life and have fostered dogs for over 16 years. Geriatrics and needy dogs have been a specialty. I have been a foster home for Second Chance Cocker Rescue Group and have fostered older dogs and currently have Max and Daphne who I adopted. I am semi retired with availability to pet sit any day except for Monday and Fridays. I would like to pet sit on a consistent basis with the same dog but am available on an as needed basis for any dog any time during the day. Dog must be housebroken and get along well with other dogs. I have a fenced area around the house which sits on 9 acres. My dogs are friendly and good company. My dogs are with me all the time and they love to ride in my car. I provide all day service and love the companionship. My home is extremely well kept and my environment is peaceful and loving.

How lucky were we to find Joan when we realized that we couldn’t bring Lucy on our short tour while staying on the area. She (and her dogs) were more than accommodating and kind, and very sweet with Lucy. Thank you Joan!
Joan is the kindest, nicest person you could hope to have watch your dog. She watched over our pandemic pup on his first time away from us while we hiked and canoed around Morro bay. She did such a great job that we even sent our dog back the next day. She was patient with him, despite the barking and who knows what else :).

A typical day
I always bring the dogs with me when I go on errands or visiting as long as the weather is not hot. I have 9 acres that is fenced so the dogs have a play area and love to run about and sniff around.
