Information Joan E. would like to know about your pet
I am able to maintain a dog's feeding schedule and treats as directed. I have not had to provide insulin shots but am confident that I could learn. How does your dog do around other dogs? Are they squirrel chasers? Walk on a lead well? I am able to administer eye drops.
A typical day
I am willing to play ball or fetch and/or walk the dog regularly. I always have a friendly pat or word (if that is what they like) when I am with him/her. Always happy to cuddle or rub tummies too.

I worked for a veterinary service in Omaha in addition to working at the early pet supply stores in Omaha before the Big Box stores came in. LOTS of interaction with dogs and their humans. Adopted a rescue pug, Louise, in 2011, fell head over heels. Louise passed in June 2020 and I adopted Frances in September of that year. Three cats, DeeJay, Shadow and Nikolai round out our family. My husband is retired and I am semi-retired. I have a flexible schedule. I am an early riser and I get my dog out regularly. I also walk her daily and she "gardens" with me in the back yard. I have a six-foot fenced in back yard that is sizable to run in or play catch. My dog would love to have another dog to follow around and pee after! Lots of exploration.
