Dogs play while you're away! I'm a newly retired Critical Care Registered Nurse looking forward to providing a safe, loving home to your best friend while you're away. I live in a comfy home with 2 fun loving doxies waiting to meet and greet your best friend. Our neighborhood is side-walk lined, safe, and quiet. I enjoy a fairly large fully fenced and gated backyard with lots of space to run and play safely. If your best friend's not too large, the doggie door is open for anytime indoor/outdoor play or rest. My dogs are healthy, not aggressive, and current with all vaccinations. Please, no aggressive dogs. I welcome elderly, timid dogs. I have cared for blind, deaf, and slow moving handicapped dogs with no problem. YOUR DOG WILL NEVER BE CRATED! If you instruct me otherwise because of your dog's routine, I will gladly oblige. Lots of room to play, relax, and even have some alone time, if your dog prefers. Sleeping arrangements are very flexible here. Your dog's night time routine is important, and will be respected. Everyone is welcome to share one big bed, or we have several comfortable beds throughout the house. You are welcome to bring bedding, blankets, toys, anything your dog loves. We have lots of safe toys. Beatrice and Oscar have no problem sharing. Meal time is also important, and your dog's routine will not be interrupted. My dogs are given a mini carrot after every meal, and a freshly baked (by me) healthy cookie. No other snacks during the day unless the sound of me cutting up an apple is overheard. Yes, I share small bits of an apple to any takers. If this works for your loved one, we have plenty to share! A strange home, new dogs, and an unknown babysitter can be uncomfortable. I will take the time to gain your dog's trust, and give your dog lots of love and attention. Your best friend will be safe and well cared for with me. Pictures of your dog's stay with me will gladly be sent to you on a daily basis. A 10% surcharge will be added for puppies 10 months and younger. Dogs with special needs such as diapers, assistance with mobility will be charged a 10% or more surcharge depending of the needs of the dog. I will be happy to host YOUR dog only. To ensure your pup is our single special guest, please book early. Charge for requested single dog guest is $70 a night. No extra charge for early drop off and/or late pick up. Day Care service is offered every day! Drop off and Pick up times are usually between 7am and 3pm. Puppies 10 months and younger will be charged 10% more than my standard rate. If your dog wants a change in his/her routine; playing at our house is an affordable option. We LOVE having friends over! Overnight care in your home is available too! Anywhere from Sherman Oaks, north to Newbury Park is our in home range. Beatrice and Oscar will accompany me and share in the fun caring for your best friend.
