Dogs,horses & more! Love them all!
Pet care experience
Hello, I am retired and love to meet new animals and care for them. I have had years of experience with dogs, cats, horses, goats and rabbits (and hermit crabs and fish when my kids were small!) I am a physician and I am very comfortable with special needs animals and medications. I love to experience new places and pets! Farm animals are a plus..I have raised rabbits,kept horses, milked goats and more! I know how much I appreciated my dog (Crash..a "jackabee"...jack russell beagle mix) and other animals being loved and well taken care of when I was gone, and like to provide reliable, loving care and companionship service for other family's pets. My dog has now moved to Colorado with my daughter, and our horses rabbits and goats are long gone😥,so I am free to travel and overnight sit. I am a very active runner/walker/hiker and love to have a dog along with me. I also am an experienced horseback rider and goat milker. I have volunteered with the animal shelter and therapeutic riding programs and was an active 4H parent for many years. I would love to meet your pet and provide sitting or exercise.Thank you!

Joan kept us updated every day with pictures and texts while we were gone. All the pets (dogs, cat, guinea pigs, snake) were happy when we got back and the house was in great shape. We will definitely book again!

Joan was amazing! She took such great care of our high energy dog and took her on lots of long walks. The house and laundry was clean when we returned. Great dog sitter!
Joan is great! She stayed in my home, keeping my dog in his normal routine and also administering some meds that he receives daily. I had no worries leaving him in her care and she didn't disappoint! She kept me updated daily which helped ease my mind on how he was doing. Will definitely be using her services again. Highly recommend! ***She is also a very talented artist, and I had the bonus of commissioning her to do a portrait of my Riley. It is a beautiful portrait, and I'll treasure it forever. Availability
I enjoy meeting new animals, and staying in new areas if I am housesitting. I now babysit my granddaughter on Tuesdays, so am unable to be there all day that day.
