Hello! My name is Jo. I work from home as a freelance tour organiser for stand-up comedians which means your furry friends won't be short of company - they'll want some time to themselves if anything! I previously worked in social care (children's services) so I have DBS police check certificate and several references from previous pet/house sits available on request. I have looked after dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, rabbits and fish. Cats almost always bring me "gifts" of rats, mice and shrews (even if it's out of character!) and I choose to believe there is no greater endorsement from the feline world. Once I looked after six cats in tandem with a six month old puppy; it was pandemonium but very funny so please throw what you will at me! I am very conscientious and reliable which has allowed me to grow my career as a freelancer. I do not let people down at the last minute and I treat everything I do with care and respect. Happy to accommodate quirks and ensure their routines are undisturbed - I am a good player and a good cuddler if that's their vibe but also happy to just to have a chat if they are less tactile. I really enjoy spending time with dogs and walking, but my personality might be seen as more cat-like! I enjoy spending time alone. My life motto is to be upfront so if I think I am not suitable (for example, if you have 50 dogs and 12 horses), I will say. If I make a mistake, I will say. But ultimately I am a really respectful person and will take the security of your home and pets very seriously by following all instructions and not playing silly beggars. I just think it makes it less stressful for all of us! I like swimming in the North Sea! Any questions welcome!
