I am a grandma for your dog.
Pet care experience
I have had dogs all my life. After the family pet passed away a few years ago, I decided to help others out rather then having my own pets. I have done Dogs on Deployment. This is where I keep a soldier's animal while they are deployed. It is a great experience. My last dog was with me for over 6 months. Since I am not close to a base, I find myself with more time to give love to those little fur balls. Recently, I started pet sitting for family and friends. As both my kids are now grown, I realized, I have extra time and love to give taking care of your loved one while you are gone. Also: There maybe times when due to vacation start and end times, I will have 2 dogs for 24-48 hours due to these over lapse in start and end times. The dogs will ALWAYS be separated and handled individually. Please let me know when booking if this is an issue.

Jo was amazing taking care of our dog for a weekend. He loved her and her home so much that he wanted to stay. She let him go all over the house and enjoy her deck overlooking trees. I recommend her to all my coworkers who have never used rover but want to.

Tell me what your dog likes. Is he like to cuddle on the sofa? Does he like to play fetch ( I play a awesome game of fetch in my house). Does he like being outside on the deck?
A typical day
I personally am a walker, so your dog can get plenty of exercise without being off the leash. I do have a big yard as well to play catch or I have been known to play catch inside on rainy days. I also am a "floor sitter" - so sitting on the floor hanging with a dog - right up my alley. Although my profile says only one dog, I would take more then one dog from a family. I want my time with your dog to be devoted to just your dog(s), thus not taking many dogs at one time.

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule that can be tailored to meet your pet's needs. Same for arrangements in the house. Your pet sleeps with you - then they can sleep with me. Do they sit on the sofa - then they will sit on sofa with me. On the flip side, you don't want your pet on furniture, neither will I.
