My daughter and I are animal lovers, we assure that your pet will be taken care of and given attention, exercise, and love. We are trust worthy and dependable and have taken care of many dogs. At the age of five I was introduced to my first standard Dachshund "Hansie" , which soon became my love and a member of our family. My father also shared a love of dogs and competitively showed standard schnauzers around the country, many of which earned championship ribbons (one special dog which I took care of for over 10 years tugs on my heart). I attended some of these showings over the years I loved every minute of it. Over the years, we have always had dogs (one Shar Pei, one Wheaten Terrier and three Yorkies), and have experience with caring for my friends and family's dogs. With that caring came special attention to dogs with disabilities including multiple Dachshunds with IVDD. Lucy is my love, she is a ten year old Yorkie and gets along well with other dogs. I am now in retirement and live in a beautiful two bedroom house with my daughter. We have a fantastic outdoor space which is fully gated, and best of all for all Dachshund owners, my house has no stairs. All my children grown and looking to take on some new members of my family. I have a heart of gold and will absolutely cherish your little treasures. We like to call it "Hotel Puppy Love"!
