I have had three dogs: Nanook was a large, to medium, Irish Setter cross with chocolate lab. I found him running around in traffic and rescued him. Conan was a medium dog with an unknown mixed breed. He was long haired with colors and temperament of a Shepherd. His size was like a border collie. Conan was one of the puppies to another rescue dog that had been abandoned while pregnant at a friend's building. Conan looked up to Nanook like a father. I taught him obedience and tricks etc. Both dogs loved going for walks at least three times a day. I would take them to the park and have them jump over benches. I liked to take them to the country and let them play in the large ponds. Nanook loved to bring back very long logs. Then there was Max who was a large breed, German Shepherd cross, short hair. He was adopted from a family who needed a new home for him. I was able to love him for one year until I moved, forcing me to find him a new home as well. I have also been around many families and friends dogs. I even fostered my best friend's dog for quite some time in 2016 while she found a new forever home for it.
