I started dog sitting as a university student before getting my own dog a few years ago. Kaya is a rescue and great with other dogs. It was a journey to build her confidence to where it is now though, so I’m familiar with working with nervous/reactive dogs and happy to follow any training plans you might have. I always tailor the stay to each dog’s needs. All breeds, all ages welcome. Hugo had the best time with Jin and Kaya! He stayed over a long weekend and had hikes during the day and cozy cuddles in the evening. Would definitely recommend Jin to any dog parents!
We have nothing but good things to say about Jin. We left our dog for 5 nights with her and she was an amazing communicator, very flexible and understanding of our dogs needs (quirks). Would definitely reccomend her and use her again in the future.
Jin was excellent with Teddy! My partner and I went away for a week on holidays. We were nervous about leaving our 13 month old high energy pup for that long. Jin managed Teddy very well, which but our minds at ease while we were away. We highly recommend Jin and would use her services again :)

My partner Hal and I normally host a max. of 2-3 dogs at a time. We can provide everything to make their stay fun and comfortable, we’d just ask that you bring their own food and bed/crate if they need it for their stay.

Let me know what your dog is like with other dogs and people, if they have any allergies/can take treats, and if you prefer them to be walked on leash or not. All dogs must be up to date with their flea and tick treatment please.
A typical day
We go out for frequent walks and there are a couple of great off-leash dog parks nearby if your dog enjoys that. If your dog has good recall we will usually try to plan a good hike during their stay. My own dog Kaya loves a play but also knows not to bother dogs that need more space!

Availability
I work from home as a painter so I love having the company of dogs and taking them out for good walks. If your dog is good off-leash we usually try and get out for bigger hikes and adventures too ! I can be flexible with hours but if it's a super late pick-up just note Rover’s fees will apply.
