I am recently retired ... my wife and I have in the last 18 months had to put to sleep our eleven year old retriever mix(Lady) and also our seventeen year old calico cat Spice). We have one cat still at home (Sugar). I used to walk Lady 2-3 times a day and had her from a puppy. We trained her to heel and fetch and all the good things you do with your friend. After Sugar is gone my wife and I can't go through the heartache of losing another member of our family so we have decided not to get another pet. Doing the pet walking is my way of helping neighbors and friends and also keeping me active. Being retired my time frame is open.
