When help is needed and you have to be away from your pet family, my wife and I can provide the love and attention they are used to receiving and keep them close to a routine that has made them feel secure.I have a special compassion for animals. We have created a home where both dogs and cats do very well together. We have had several pets, training them as pups and kittens, and caring for them as elderly pets. We had a poodle who lived to 18; Maltese dogs who were 16, and Baxter, our Havanese was 16. Our Boxer Gryffin is 10, and going strong. That shows love and care and we are so fortunate to have had the love of pets. Every visit I will provide fresh water, food as required, play time, and some quiet petting and conversation time. My pets always love being talked to and getting special treats. I will make sure they feel loved even by a new friend. My wife and I both retired from our careers and run a small business from our home, so I have a lot of availability. Attention is what your pet will get. I can make home visits or we can board your pet. When you book us, it is not to have your dog crated all day or put in a room since we are home with them almost all the time. I have a large fenced yard plus a secondary fenced area just in case your dog is shy and doesn't want our fur babies playing with him or her. We will be able to separate dogs if necessary, but they will probably want supervised play together. I can take your baby for a walk if you would like, or crate the pup for alone time if he or she likes that. I will follow your directions and do my best to make them feel they are getting as much of their comforting routine as possible. For a cat, we have a few guest rooms that would be ideal for acclamation to environment.
