-I am 70 years old, my wife is 68. We have had dogs our entire marriage until Brandy our Golden retriever died. Not a big cat person so there won't be any conflict with other animals. Your pet will have undivided attention. We have plenty of wide open areas for play, lots of wooded areas for walking and exploring, and of course we have the bays and numerous lakes around where dogs are welcome if they like the water. Although I picked house above, we actually live in a condo, but that wasn't one of the choices but the condos association does not have an restrictions on pets except that they be controlled. I hope you will consider me (us) in caring for your pet. We will treat them as part of our family.
