Pet care experience
Hello! I'm a lifelong dog lover and dog-papa to Lola, our family's beloved rescue pittie of 8 years. We've traveled long and far, from New Jersey to Boston to Lincoln, as a dog-loving family, and we're happy to call Nebraska home! I'm presently a graduate student at UNO completing my Masters' thesis from Lincoln, so I enjoy wide scheduling flexibility. As a dog lover (and human dad), I value and cherish every minute I can spend with my human-canine family, and I understand the concern (and anxiety!) that dog parents share when it's time to head out of town - for vacation or for emergency circumstances - without our four-legged friends. Please consider it my duty and pleasure to care for your dog during those, and any other, times of need --- especially when "duty" calls and you're not home to open the back door! (You knew that pun was coming, didn't you?)

Your animals will be so lucky to spend time with Jim. He’s fun, thoughtful, patient and responsible. I would trust him with any job, big or small! As a dog owner, I know it’s tough to be away from your furry friends, but you’ll know they’re in great hands!
As a dog owner and dog lover, I would definitely recommend Jim as a dog caregiver. I have known Jim for 10 years and he is definitely a caring, loving, and conscientious dog owner. Because of his kind and caring nature and his true love for all dogs as well as his responsible and reliable nature, Jim make an excellent employee of Rover. I highly recommend him for a position with your animal service.

Information Jim B. would like to know about your pet
I am a bit biased towards mid- and large-sized breeds, but that's just experience - I have very open preferences, and I love to meet all kinds of new dogs and interact with vibrant (often vibrating) personalities.
A typical day
I am happy to take your dog on a neighborhood jaunt; enjoy a morning constitutional along Lincoln's winding bike trails; take the pup(s) to Holmes Lake, Mahoney Park (the one in-town, or if you'd prefer, the one along the Platte!), Pioneer Park, Woods Park, you name it! I've got the best fetch-throwing arm this side of the Summer Olympics - I once threw a frisbee to Council Bluffs - and I'm generally unopposed to romping around in the mud (I am happy to give baths too, naturally!), or cuddling the pup on the couch watching Orphan Black or whatever your dog's post-dinner routine may be.
