Pet care experience
My first canine pal entered my life when I was 10 years old. We shared the next 17 years (1957 to 1974) with many days spent playing at the local park. As time progressed Taffy was a great companion and comfort during the "growing up years" and trials of college. It was with deep sadness that I took him for his final journey. Molly, a shelter rescue, came into our home in 1988. She was as much a family member as anyone; curled up by the fireplace during cold winter months and boisterous and playful the rest of the year. I brushed and groomed both Taffy and Molly and sometimes let them share the foot of the bed. Alas, another sad day September of 2005 when I held Molly as she took her last breath. I look forward to the 'Rainbow Bridge'. Hopefully lack of professional training is compensated for by 34 years of caring for my best friends.

Jim is my brother-in-law, and is a very kind man. He loves dogs, and that love is reciprocated by the animals he comes in contact with. Daily walks are something Jim looks forward to, and he has the means and flexibility to be available whenever needed. I would feel completely comfortable having Jim care for any of my dogs.
Having known Jim A. for over 30 years I have seen him interact with his personal pets over this ong period of time. His little dog "Molly" obviously loved him dearly and went most everywhere Jim would go. My dogs love Jim too. He would be a great doggie sitter. Mike W.
Jim, my dad, had a dog growing up and spoke often of that special relationship. I was thrilled when, in 6th grade, we rescued a shelter dog so I could experience the childhood bond with a dog. Our sweet Molly was a blessing to us. My father showed me the importance of being a pack leader as well as a best friend to our loyal dog. Molly was definitely an important extension of our family. Fast forward many years to today. My father retired a couple years ago, and has taken up new hobbies including gardening, going to the gym and handyman projects. He values physical and mental engagement. He is enjoying retirement but certainly still has zeal for life and is looking to pursue a position that is mutually beneficial- he'll get to care for his favorite animals, get some excercise and provide help to his neighbors. Being a former member of the ministry, my dad strives to conduct himself in the highest moral and ethical manner possible. If you're looking for a good-hearted, trustworthy, compassionate caretaker for your dog, Jim is your guy!
