As a full-time student, I do not have a typical schedule full of work obligations. I have a flexible schedule that I can adjust to accommodate your needs.

Safety, trust & environment
While you’re away, I am available to make visits (locally) 3-4 times per day. In addition to taking care of your pet’s basic needs, I also believe in caring for their emotional wellbeing. Whether they need a few extra snuggles, a long walk, or someone to play with, I am happy to make accommodations to suit the needs of each personality.
Information Jillian Y. would like to know about your pet
Before I get to know your pet, I would like to learn about any health concerns, food allergies, reactivity, behavioral issues, aggression, or bite history.
A typical day
Having worked with hundreds of shelter pets in the past, I recognize each animal has their own unique interests and activity levels. Whether they have fun by taking naps on the couch, or going for jogs (with lots of sniff breaks!) at the local park, I look forward to learning how I can best support your pet’s needs.

Pet care experience
As the former Foster Coordinator and Lead Adoption Counselor of a nonprofit shelter in Bradenton, FL., I have professional experience and special training in caring for pets. My role involved overseeing the basic care and medical treatment of bottle-fed neonates and other special cases. I have hands on experience in administering medications and subcutaneous vaccinations for both cats and dogs of all ages. For 3 years, I also worked under a locally renowned trainer and international behavior consultant. My professional experience, along with my degree in social & behavioral science, have helped me develop a strong understanding of animal behavior and training principles. I am happy to help your pet learn a few basic obedience skills, using scientifically supported reward-based training methods.
Cat care experience

Jillian also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews

My dog is very reactive to other dogs and Jillian is experienced with that and was able to handle him well. She is very thorough with wanting to know all about his triggers and what works best for him. She left a detailed note about his walk. It’s hard to find someone you can trust to walk your dog when they are reactive but I will be using her regularly.

Jillian is wonderful! Pugly really enjoyed the visit. 10/10

Jillian was amazing! So patient with my dog and kept me updated my whole trip. Very satisfied and would use her services again.
Awesome person! Very clear she cares for your pets like they are family.
