Hello fellow pet lovers! We are committed to our furry babies, and even when time is short, we still care for them, and you can count on me to help out! I'll be honored to walk your dog, or drop in for your cats. I'm very attentive and careful- safety is number one priority! I have walked my grandmother's dog for 2 years; then working with Rover with walks and boardings for 4 years. I am very gentle with puppies and kittens, and very experienced with senior and extra-care pets. I am also very experienced with cats, volunteering at a cat shelter for 1 year getting comfortable with socializing and care, as well as many service bookings while working through Rover. This was Ounces' second time with Jillian and her family. It is so clear that they loved and cared for my puppy like he is family! It is always a bit nerve wracking to drop your dog and walk away. But I felt confident he was in good hands with Jillian. She sent me pictures and videos and kept me updated during the stay. She is a natural dog lover and I am so grateful to be connected with a wonderful Rover connection!
We’ve booked Jillian a number of time to care for our two cats and she always does a wonderful job. She is very reliable and very caring.

At the client's home, I make sure to check the pet location before locking the entrance. I also look for chewed objects and other messes. At my place, we have a closed front and back yard, with high fences, and always supervised. Vulnerable areas, such as trash cans and stairs, are protected. We board one animal at a time, more from the same family.

Information Jillian T. would like to know about your pet
I will provide a great walking experience for your dog, so I'd like to know their energy/ activity level, temperament, size, and special habits/ behavior triggers. I have no specific breed preferences (they are all so great!), but am selective with dogs over 40lbs at this time for mutual safety reasons. If your fur-baby is so friendly they knock people over, I say GREAT. If your companion is super skittish and really shy, I've befriended my fair share of terrified animals and rescues. Regardless of your pet, I will provide as much safety as I can, avoiding people, children, and other dogs (as per Rover guidelines), cross the street at the safest moment even if I have to wait more, and avoid potholes and metal grates.
A typical day
I am based in Central Brooklyn with excellent driving experience and easy access to public transit. My favorite places are parks, nature is a great place for dog walks and exercise, or relaxing with the low-energy dog. I also like exploring residential areas, looking at the different houses in quiet contemplation. Unless the dog wants to run, of course! Boarding and sitting consists or abundant play time and attention.
