Pet care experience
I am a dog person through and through; I treat all dogs with kindness and compassion as if they were my own! I currently have a husky and have raised two huskies. I have trained them on leash walks and many important behaviors. Our husky is very laid back and friendly; he welcomes other dogs into our home and is very submissive. He’s a great role model on walks and hikes if that’s something you’re dog needs. I also do well with reinforcing good behavior on walks. I am happy to do long walks, hikes, and overnights. I have a flexible schedule right now and am able to provide services when needed. I can’t wait to become acquainted with your furry friend, I have no doubt we will get along well!

As a Rover sitter myself, I read a lot of profiles before I contacted Jillian. We have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Rosie that was rescued from an abusive backyard breeder. Not surprising, she has major trust issues and can be fearful when it comes to meeting people. I was very concerned about leaving her since she is very attached to me. Fortunately, I found Jillian. She knew exactly how to gain our girl's trust. Jillian came for a couple scheduled pre-trip walks and a play session along with her dog, Niko. Watching them together, we knew we'd found the right person and we were completely comfortable trusting Jillian with our girl while we were away. The pictures and communication while we were gone reassured me that Rosie was being lovingly cared for and I could enjoy my trip. Thanks Jillian (and Niko!). You're the best!
We are so happy we found Jillian for our boy Axel! There are only a few days a month where we aren’t home for long periods of time, and it’s so nice to know that Axel will be well taken care of and get to stretch his legs and explore! We are working on leash training and can 100% tell that Jillian has also been working on it with Axel on their walks. Would highly recommend her to anyone in the area!
Jillian is amazing! Her love for animals is immediately apparent because they are drawn right into belly rubs and ear scratches from her! She is responsible and dependable. I had a 15 year old diabetic dog who needed regular bathroom breaks and special care. Jillian was someone I could trust my best furry friend with without a question! It was great peace of mind having such an amazing walker and caregiver! 11/10 recommend!
I have known Jillian for years, and my dog LOVES her. He has a lot of anxiety, but he trusted her from the moment they met. She is also an awesome dog mom. She takes her dog on lots of hikes and even brought him to school so that students could play with him and enjoy his company! Jillian is calm and kind; any dog would be safe and content in her care.
