I am a student who has grown up with dogs my entire life. I took care of my neighbors dogs all through high school, as well as I helped raise our family dog. Now I am in college, and I miss taking care of dogs since moving to Utah from Washington. I do have a full time job, but I work as a manager during the day, so I have a flexible schedule. I used to let out the neighbor's dog before class, feed him breakfast, practive a few of his hunting commands, then I returned to let him out after class too. We had a lot of play time and cuddle time, and would go on a short walk to practice being on a leash. This helped the dog socialize, and to reinforce his training.
