Pet care experience
I am currently an Animal Science student home from college for the summer. I am a graduate of Norfolk County Agricultural High School where I majored in animal science as well, and took classes in canine behavior. I work at a doggie daycare/boarding kennel where I have been working since last summer whenever I am home on school breaks. At my school I am very involved in our Puppy Raisers Club as a certified sitter for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, in which I assist in the raising/training of puppies who will be future guide dogs. I also have pet care experience from pet sitting for friends and neighbors, as well as from taking care of my own dog.

Jillian came to our house and dropped in on our senior dog three times a day over a long weekend. Each time she was prompt and did everything that was asked of her—including administering insulin shots. She also gave updates to keep my mind at ease. Our dog is almost completely blind so we didn’t want to take him out of his environment and I felt comfortable with his quality of care while we were away.

I am a full time student at URI and I have classes all day Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. As of now I have lots of availability on Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
