Knowing our dog, Winston, suffers from severe separation anxiety and that she was hired to sit with him while we were out, Jillian left Winston alone - in a kennel that we don't use. We hired Jillian to sit with Winston while we had a day and evening out with friends visiting from out of town. In the original 'stay request' through Rover and then again when we left for the day, I told Jillian that I had no idea when the concert we were attending would be over but that I would text her when it was over, so she would know our ETA. I did just that at 11:42pm. I thought it was odd that I didn't get a response, but I thought perhaps Jillian was sleeping. When we arrived home, Jillian was gone, and Winston was in a kennel – Winston doesn’t use the kennel. Winston was in a horrible state of anxiety. His towel in his kennel was really wet from his panting/sweating. He was trembling, and he scratched his mouth on the kennel (a week and ½ later the area is still swollen and pink). I immediately texted Jillian asking her when she left our dog alone! Again – no response. I then logged onto Rover and saw that Jillian had left a message at exactly 11:30 reading “Hi guys I haven’t heard from you and unfortunately I do have to leave since the booking expired at 11:30…” ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Don’t you think maybe she should have followed up with a text or a phone call or waiting for a response of some sort before leaving our sweet boy alone!? I have not received any communication from Jillian - no apology, nothing.

Our dog is a rescue and he can be a bit of a handful to say the least. I could tell from the meet and greet that Jillian was great with dogs, and we feel so lucky that she was able to stay in our home with our fur baby while we were out of town. We will absolutely be booking with her again. Thank you Jillian for taking such good care of our ornery dog!
