Pet care experience
I have had dogs all of my life and have been the primary caregiver of dogs since I was 15. I have been fostering and volunteering with rescue groups in New Orleans since 2008. I am also the go-to pet sitter for all of my friends and family. My dogs are like my children and I treat other’s dogs the same. I have experience with both senior dogs and puppies both big and small as well as other animals (cats, chinchillas, rabbits, etc). Some of my skills are medication dispensing, teaching tricks, basic grooming (nails, cleaning ears, baths), baking pet friendly treats, and care for sick or injured dogs. Overall, being around animals brings me happiness and I know how difficult it can be to get someone trustworthy to watch and care for them.

No breed preferences! But I would like to know if they have any conditions (I have a foster with epilepsy and have had a dog with a heart condition) so I can pay close attention. I'd also like to know how they respond to other dogs, children, and being off the lease in a gated area.
A typical day
Depending where you live, I love taking the dogs to the park or lake to play fetch. When in the housebor yard I also like to play "find it" (I hide treats around the house and have the dog sniff them out). I'm up for whatever the dog loves, whether he loves sitting around getting his belly rubbed, playing with the hose, fetch, etc.
