We cannot say enough great things about Jill!! She was fantastic from start to finish. She dog/house-sat for our 2 boxers once before for a week so familiar with our routine...but came by anyway to discuss any changes, she took copious notes and reacquainted herself with the dogs. She showed up shortly after we left the house and left just before we came home, communicating with us over the weekend with lots of ...

Jill was the perfect answer to our situation! Our dog does not do well being boarded, and after a recommendation we decided to take the leap and contact We could not have been more thrilled learning that Jill was going to take care of her; she was instant an instant friend to Satara, and was attentive to detail as we discussed routines. We received regular email and text updates and pictures. Our dog ...

Love, play, coach, train with care

Jill's Doggie and Homecare Culture:
Dogs of all sizes have been my family members since I myself was a pup! As a lifetime educator & coach, I know that earning the trust of YOUR PUP/S and YOU, means consistency through lovingly supporting the habits & routines you've established together. That includes getting to know your dog's breed, and his/her doggie & human-like tendencies. It also includes fully understanding your expectations, so I like ...

What Jill would like to know about your dog

o Training commands, things you're working on?
o Bathroom, Bedtime & Meal routines?
o Vaccinations, Allergies, Medications?
o Quirks or Fears?
o Favorite Things?
o Behavioral Doggie-don'ts or Nutritional No-nos?
o Puppies under 1-year old, and of course, your feline kids are always welcome in my care. You can learn more under the "Additional Services" section of my profile.
o Jill is Open to Breed Preferences: As a lifetime dog-parent, I have experience living with many breeds under my care, including those designated by the AKC as: Sporting, working, toy, and of course our beloved mixed breeds! Retrievers are my specialty, and I have been parent to golden retrievers for 4 generations.

When Jill watches your pet

o I'll support your training & behavior routines, with the option of adding new ones. We can discuss additional training work you may like when we connect.
o I take frequent pictures when I'm caring for your furry loved ones. When my own fur-faces have been cared for by sitters, it's what I look forward to most while I'm away, and I want to give you the same detailed, caring service. Pictures show my pleasure in letting you see how your "kids" are enjoying themselves in my care.
o Walk/Hike on your favorite paths. (Some of mine are: Wilmont Park & Sammamish River Trail, Tolt Pipeline, Duvall Rails-to-Trails, Redmond Town Center, Town Center (Woodinville), Molbak's, Old Town Bothell, McMennamin's campus (Bothell), and I'm always open to adding new discoveries!
o Additional fido-friendly field trips are always an option (with your family's permission, of course.)
o Languish with soothing massages (including Tellington Touch & other favorite go-to, mesmerizing forms of interaction.)
o You'll teach me your tricks & I'll see if you want to learn mine.
o And I'll watch for the smaller details of your behaviors to continuously connect with your needs, sharing pics of our activities with your family... And, as always, we'll share plenty of pics simply of YOU, just doing you!!

o Booking "Days" are charged in 24-hour increments. It is generally expected that an extra day is charged after 24 hours.
o Charges for several hours or a full day of caring for your dog/pets in your home will be designed on a case-by-case basis.
o ***Minimum Charge for 1-night Bookings***
(When I stay over in your home for a single night)
It's important to me to invest thoroughly in getting to know you and your dog before any booking. Therefore, I apply an overnight minimum charge of $100 which applies only to single-night booking agreements. This charge will appear AFTER we connect, and will appear under the "Addition Fees" section of our booking proposal. (Example: A 1-night fee for 1 dog, for 1 overnight house-sitting at your place, will be charged at $100.) When you book 2 or more consecutive nights, the charges return to the per-night rates you see listed in my profile.

o ***Training your dog for best companion and family living - Dogs love to learn from their pet parents, and training your puppy or adult dog is one of my favorite ways to work with your family member! While all my sitting bookings include reinforcing your dogs regular vocabulary comprehension and training routines, we can discuss any specialty areas you would like to help your puppy or dog learn. This often includes learning the subtle things your dog would like you to learn, to make it easier to understand you! ;)

With the availability of short-term and long-term training packages, together, we will discuss your needs for your furry family member, to design a series (or a single-visit) to help you with your pup's goals.
