Pet care experience
I grew up with a golden retriever as a teenager for 10 years until I moved out and dog passed away. He was a great dog. I was in charge of feeding, walking 2x a day, and having fun playing ball with him. He died of spleen cancer. my husband and I adopted a lab from a kennel at 10 months old. He too was a great dog. Lived a long wonderful 14 years. I have had a lot of experience with dogs, as other family members have dogs and I would dogsit for them.

Chloe had a wonderful weekend stay with Jill and her family. It was a huge comfort to us to get updates and pictures of Chloe looking happy and relaxed. Such a huge plus for us to enjoy our weekend celebrating our daughter's wedding and not have to worry whether Miss Chloe was comfortable and well taken care of! We couldn't have been happier with the care our girl got! Thanks Jill!

Jill immediately adopted Abby as a member of the family. Abby is 11 yrs old, had never been boarded; I had always left her in our home and had a sitter come in, thinking she would be more comfortable in her usual surroundings. Boy, was I wrong! Abby loved being with Jill and her family, received lots of attention and got lots of exercise. I left her for 2 1/2 weeks and it was like she had a fun vacation while I was on vacation. Jill sent lots of pictures and I could see how content and happy Abby was. It's expensive,yes, but well worth it and if possible I will always have Abby stay will Jill when I have to go away.
When I picked up Lucky after being with Jill for several days, he looked happy. I could tell looking at his face that he had been well cared for and loved. That's what every dog deserves and will never get at a kennel. Now I can travel a little more often without worry knowing Lucky is in good hands.

I would need to know if the dog is friendly around children under age 12. If the dog is aggressive in general or while eating. I would also like to be told if the dog barks a lot. Does the dog have any separation anxiety. Is the dog on any special diet restrictions? Basically I would need a basic history of the dog. I do not have any specific preference on dogs.
A typical day
We have many nice trails around Foxboro, including a favorite of mine called, Borderland State Park. This park features well maintained trails for walking dogs, running, horse trail rides, beautiful ponds and fields to throw the ball for fetch! there is also Gilbert state forest, with more quiet peaceful trails along the woods. I also have taken dogs around pond street recreation park, it is almost 2 mile walk or even more if the dog needs more exercise!
