Love, play, coach, train with care

Pet care experience

Jill's Doggie and Homecare Culture: Dogs of all sizes have been my family members since I myself was a pup! As a lifetime educator & coach, I know that earning the trust of YOUR PUP/S and YOU, means consistency through lovingly supporting the habits & routines you've established together. That includes getting to know your dog's breed, and his/her doggie & human-like tendencies. It also includes fully understanding your expectations, so I like to ask lots of questions. It is endlessly important to me that you and your dog are excited to see me arrive and can't wait for my return. That means I respect you and your space by keeping your home just as you left it, as well as becoming your furriest child's loving, responsible caregiver! I will demonstrate how my visit is designed to ease your mind and your workload. Keeping Your Friend Engaged and Full of Purpose During My Visit: After years of attending formal training classes to learn how to raise our own furry family members, I'm now successfully "home schooling" from puppyhood. Today our fur-faced "child" is just the right balance of well-behaved, easy-going, and affectionate silliness! Naturally, Izzie won't let me take all the credit, but as our 4th little fur-face, even she will admit that home-schooling is pretty fun stuff! While Rover.com doesn't formally offer training bookings to its clients, consistent training & routines have been the center of my positive relationships with dogs. I'm looking forward to sharing how my training knowledge & practices may fit into my visit to your home when I care for your dog/s. And Now a Note to Your Own Fur-friend: Hi New Pal...Don't worry, I'm not replacing your family - just visiting for a short while. I know you thrive when things stay familiar, safe, consistent & fun. I'm ready to have you show me how we make that happen! Let's go at your pace to build your trust and comfort with me. Then we'll do all the fun stuff you teach me (of course we'll run any new ideas by your parent/s first!) So come on...Let's be playmates! I'm looking forward to seeing you! Your friend, Jill (Some pups like to call me Camp-Mom!)

We cannot say enough great things about Jill!! She was fantastic from start to finish. She dog/house-sat for our 2 boxers once before for a week so familiar with our routine...but came by anyway to discuss any changes, she took copious notes and reacquainted herself with the dogs. She showed up shortly after we left the house and left just before we came home, communicating with us over the weekend with lots of pictures and updates on how the dogs were doing. We knew they were in good hands but it was so fun to see the dogs all weekend and know they were having a good time and being taken care of. Our smaller boxer had been sick right before Jill came so she was extra sensitive about keeping her activity restricted until she was back to 100%. She walked the dogs in the early morning (large boxer is dog reactive so we walk him early before others are up) - I know for a fact it was earlier than she normally gets up but she did it anyway, which we appreciated. We cleaned the house before we left but it appeared even cleaner when we returned...I think she cleaned up our planter boxes too, we had some geraniums that needed clearing out and I just didn't have time to do it before we left....planter boxes looked really good when we returned. In short, Jill was amazing with our two boxers, great at providing pics and updates and left our house in better shape than she found it. We will definitely use her again!! 5 star review

Jill was the perfect answer to our situation! Our dog does not do well being boarded, and after a recommendation we decided to take the leap and contact Rover.com. We could not have been more thrilled learning that Jill was going to take care of her; she was instant an instant friend to Satara, and was attentive to detail as we discussed routines. We received regular email and text updates and pictures. Our dog and our house were in good hands, and it made all the difference. We will definitely use Jill again, and suggest Rover.com to friends. Thank you!

Absolutely a fantastic experience with Jill! Multiple updates and pics every day, throughout the stay. Both the dog and cat immediately bonded with her (and that’s saying something for the cat!). In fact, I think our dog might have been disappointed when we arrived home. She knows she won’t get nearly the play time that she had with her buddy Jill. We can’t wait to have Jill sit for us again. The pets love her and she was an attentive, reassuring partner for us in our first pet-sitting experience.

Therefore, I apply an overnight minimum charge of $100 which applies only to single-night booking agreements. This charge will appear AFTER we connect, and will appear under the "Addition Fees" section of our booking proposal. (Example: A 1-night fee for 1 dog, for 1 overnight house-sitting at your place, will be charged at $100.) When you book 2 or more consecutive nights, the charges return to the per-night rates you see listed in my profile. o ***Training your dog for best companion and family living - Dogs love to learn from their pet parents, and training your puppy or adult dog is one of my favorite ways to work with your family member! This often includes learning the subtle things your dog would like you to learn, to make it easier to understand you! ;) With the availability of short-term and long-term training packages, together, we will discuss your needs for your furry family member, to design a series (or a single-visit) to help you with your pup's goals.
