I will adhere to your specific instructions and requests, as you know your fur baby best. I promise to keep you updated on your pet and informed of any potential concerns. Safety and comfort are my number one priority for your furry family member. I especially enjoy working with seniors, dogs with special needs, and dachshunds but love all animals big and small! :) I have a professional background in health care so you can rest assured that I know the right questions to ask and information to provide should your pet ever have a health concern or require a visit to the vet. I am very familiar with the WVRC and Lakeshore Veterinary Care specialty veterinary clinics. I have provided specialized care for my own dog and those of family members who were ailing with cancer or other chronic debilitating conditions resulting in loss of function and who required assistance with feeding (spoon, hand, or syringe fee ding), around-the-clock medications, mobility assistance (special harnesses, lifting techniques, or carts), and urinary/incontinence care. Thus, I can administer medications and provide other types of specialized care, if needed. I have two strollers available for smaller dogs, if needed, due to health/mobility issues or age. I feel that taking a dog who can no longer go on regular walks out for a stroller ride or to sit in the yard or at the park can greatly enhance quality of life. I also have a booster car seat for small dogs. I am available for drop-ins or extended stays for animals requiring closer monitoring due to health conditions while you are away.
