I have grown up with dogs and absolutely adore them. I have so much love for any dog that crosses my path. I grew up wanting to be a dog trainer - there is still time! I signed up to volunteer for Second Hand Hounds because I enjoy being around them so much. I have a spacious living space with room for dogs to run around in. I live 3 blocks away from Lake of the Isles, so I have a lot of opportunity for walking. There are also dog parks near by if your dog enjoys those. I have the ability to work from home if necessary to be available for the dogs. I would give any dog so much love and attention!! I’m very excited for this opportunity.

Jill was terrific at communication regarding exercise and eating. She noted Tibby refusing her food and figured out how to entice her to eat her food again. I could tell she was tuned-in to Tibby’s habits and needs. She was flexible with drop-off and pick-up times as well.

Her rapport with any dog she comes in contact with is remarkable. If any unknown situations would arise( say on a walk,) Jill is very capable of making good and safe decisions.
