Pet care experience
I've had dogs since I was a child, and being raised with pets really allowed me to develop a love for animals. I volunteered with the SPCA when I was younger and currently have two huskies, Lando (2) and Blue (11). I’m originally from Northern California, but moved down south for work a few years ago. My schedule is generally flexible, as I work from home. I love being outside and active, I’m sure as you can imagine with two wild huskies :) I have experience caring for dogs of different breeds and sizes, and have cared for dogs taking medicine or requiring special treatment as well.

Jill took such good care of our 5 year old husky, which is no easy task. Her yard was pure paradise for our dog with plenty of room to run, explore and tire himself out. Our Burton boy came back tired and even brushed! Great boarding experience and would go back to Jill at any time.

I’m open to all behavioral control/training methods. In my home, I utilize crates, treat training, and electric collar for off-leash recall. Also, my boyfriend’s dog was trained with the K-9 unit for the police force, so I’m familiar with some of those methods too. Just let me know what commands and methods to carry them out you typically use, and I will use those.

I would like to know if the dogs been socialized, house trained, and how he or she behaves with other animals. I don't have breed preferences, but I do love active dogs that enjoy the outdoors.
A typical day
I have tons of dog toys and can bring those over if your dog likes toys, I also enjoy taking dogs to the beach, hiking, dog parks (there’s a great gated one in HB), or car rides.

Availability
I work from home so house sitting is typically the best arrangement for me, as I can be with your pet the whole day. I’m also available for walks on weekends, lunch hours, and after work :)
